Smartness already covers a fair amount in Italy. Here is what GoToCheck adds, plainly.
Compliance outside Italy
Smartness already files the Alloggiati schedina and works out the tassa di soggiorno for your Italian properties. Where GoToCheck really adds something is outside: Spain (SES.Hospedajes, Mossos, Ertzaintza), Portugal (SIBA) and Croatia (eVisitor). If your group has properties in several countries, each one reports where it must.
One link, authorised once
No keys to copy and no forms to fill in. You open our link, sign in to your Smartness account and press Approve. Access covers all your properties and does not expire.
A check-in link per property
Channel bookings often arrive without the guest's email. That is why each property has a fixed link: the guest opens it, states their dates and registers.
Automatic guest registration
Spain, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Italy, Croatia, Portugal and Galicia. Filed on time, without anyone logging into a portal.
Tourist tax calculated and charged
Worked out under the rules of the region or comune and charged to the guest during check-in itself.

How does Smartness connect to GoToCheck?
We send you an authorisation link. You open it, sign in to your Smartness account, see the GoToCheck name and press Approve. That is it: access is granted immediately and covers all your properties. Important: it must be approved by the account owner. If an employee or collaborator opens it, nothing is granted and no warning is shown.
Smartness already files my schedina. What does GoToCheck add?
In Italy your legal side is covered and we are not going to charge you to repeat it. GoToCheck adds the online check-in in the guest's language, the signed contract, the scanned ID, smart locks and tax collection inside the check-in itself. And if you have properties outside Italy, there we are the ones filing their reports.
I have properties in several countries. Does it work?
Yes, and that is where it shows most. Each property reports to the authority that corresponds to where it is: Spain, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Italy, Portugal, Croatia or Galicia. You see it all from the same dashboard.
Channel bookings do not always carry an email. How does check-in reach the guest?
Through a single link per property, valid for all its bookings. The guest opens it, states their dates and registers. You can also send it yourself over WhatsApp or the channel chat.
Do I have to do anything each time I add a new property?
No. The authorisation covers all of the owner's properties, so new ones show up on their own at the next sync.
